HFD Distributes 1,300 Hygiene Kits to Displaced Families in Lahj and Abyan As part of its ongoing humanitarian response to the needs of displaced and conflict-affected communities in Yemen, Horizon Foundation for Development (HFD) distributed 1,300 essential hygiene kits, reaching 1,300 displaced families and approximately 9,100 individuals across Lahj and Abyan Governorates. In Lahj, 1,000 hygiene kits were distributed across 26 displacement sites and camps in Tuban District, while 300 kits were distributed across 6 displacement sites and camps in Khanfar District, Abyan Governorate. The response prioritized newly displaced and conflict-affected families facing increased humanitarian needs. The intervention was carried out in close coordination with local authorities and relevant humanitarian stakeholders, and in collaboration with key response partners, including CCCM, RRM, WASH Cluster, UNICEF, and the Yemen Red Crescent, among others. Through this intervention, HFD continues to contribute to improving hygiene conditions, reducing public health risks, and supporting the dignity and well-being of vulnerable displaced families.
